Lovely to look at. But don’t touch it. Don’t pick it. Don’t eat it.
There’s a lot of fungi in and around Canberra. A lot. You don’t need me to tell you not to eat it. Well, you might. Don’t eat it. Any of it.
That aside, it sure is pretty.
Why was I taking photographs of fungi?
Well, on Sunday we decided to do one of our favourite walks – Booroomba Rocks. Booroomba Rocks’ value for effort is usually excellent – for a quick cardio workout you get rewarded with some extraordinary views.
Sometimes the cloud is just right and it’s like you’re walking on top of it.
Sometimes … well, sometimes you get this.
So, rather than focusing on what we couldn’t see, I turned my attention to what we could:
